| Basic Qualifications |

Minimum of 19 years of age (copy of birth certificate is required); |
|
• |
Canadian Citizenship or Landed Immigrant (proof of status is required); |
|
• |
No criminal record; |
|
• |
Minimum uncorrected vision - 20/40 in one eye and 20/100 in the other eye, correctable to 20/20, 20/30; |
|
• |
Corneal laser surgery is acceptable provided that six months has elapsed since the surgery; |
|
• |
Color blindness is not acceptable; |
|
• |
Must possess a valid BC Drivers Licence, with a record indicative of responsible driving habits; |
|
• |
Education - Minimum of a high school diploma; |
|
• |
Must be in excellent physical condition and be able to pass a rigorous physical fitness test and comprehensive medical examination. |
|
• |
Excellent verbal and written communications skills; |
|
• |
Computer skills and keyboarding ability preferred; |
|
• |
Ability to successfully undergo an extensive background investigation involving work place, personal, financial and neighbourhood inquiries. |
