Central Saanich Police Service (CSPS) has proudly served the community of Central Saanich since its incorporation in 1951. The CSPS is a progressive, community oriented police service offering a full service to the citizens of Central Saanich.
We are staffed with 23 sworn and 4 non-sworn personnel. All personnel, except the Chief, Deputy Chief Constable and Administrative Assistant to the Chief, are represented by the Central Saanich Police Association.
The region offers a high standard of living with a moderate climate. The Service polices an area of 22 square miles with a population of 16,000. We are a progressive, community oriented police service offering a full service to the citizens of Central Saanich. Pay and benefits are comparable to other regional police departments. The CSPS enjoys a strong and positive relationship with the community it serves and is committed to working together to ensure that the Municipality of Central Saanich remains a safe, secure and vibrant community
