Applicants need to use the CSPS Criminal Record Information form and must be completed using ink. There is a $50.00 applicant processing fee. This fee will be waived for volunteers of non-profit organizations who provide an original letter of request, dated and on official letterhead, supporting the volunteer’s position. The letter must contain an original signature by the organizations delegate and the applicants name must be handwritten or typed in the body of the letter. The letter must be signed by the organizations delegate and the applicants name must be typed in the body of the letter. Photocopies of signatures are not acceptable. The application requires two to three weeks to be processed. All completed forms must be picked up by the applicant within 90 days or they will be destroyed.
Central Saanich Police do not notify applicants when their completed Criminal Record Check is ready to be picked up.
