Our School Liaison Officer (SLO) works out of the Community Policing Office.  He is responsible for maintaining a presence in our local schools as well as the delivery of appropriate police related educational programs to the students at various levels.  Our SLO also assists school administration staff in discussions with students requiring additional guidance pertaining to unacceptable behavior in the school environment as well as in the community.

Examples of the programs delivered by the SLO are: WITS (anti-bullying), Through a Blue Lens (Crystal Meth Awareness), Road Safety, Counterattack, Bike Rodeo's, School Crossing Guards Training, and Cyber Bullying Awareness.
