The Central Saanich Police Service, through its governing Municipal Police Board, consists of 25 sworn members, supported by four civilian staff, two volunteer Reserve Constable Officers, and several volunteers. They provide a professional level of police service with a strong commitment to community policing, integrated policing, and multi -agency cooperation.

The Police Service is organized into the following areas: uniformed investigation and patrol, general investigative services, community relations, traffic safety and administration. The Service supports five full time secondments with police officers participating in the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, the Integrated Road Safety Unit, National Weapons Enforcement Team, Mobile Youth Services Team and the International Security Enforcement Team.
