The Central Saanich Police Service welcomed the newest member of their police family, Ryan Johnston. Ryan was sworn-in this morning in front of a large gathering of family and friends and is off to the Police Academy January 16, 2017.  A local boy growing up in Victoria, Ryan comes to the service with a multitude of experiences. From his work as an officer with VIHA Protection Services, to CRD By-Law Officer, to Reserve Constable with Saanich Police, Ryan is a perfect fit with CSPS. In addition to all that, he is a martial arts instructor and has a Masters degree in Pacific Asian Studies. Welcome Ryan! We look forward to your return from training in the spring.
