Applicants must:

• Be at least 19 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver's licence.
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Be capable of safely managing prisoners and responding appropriately to challenging situations.
• Successfully complete all required security screening and training requirements.
• Successfully complete required medical and fitness assessments where applicable.

Because prisoner management requirements are often unpredictable and may arise on short notice, applicants must be prepared to maintain a minimum availability of 24 hours per month. Consistent availability is an essential requirement of the position, and applicants with greater availability may be given preference.
