General Requirements Applicable to All Positions

Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee advancement through the recruitment process. CSPS selects applicants based upon qualifications, competencies, suitability, organizational fit, and operational requirements.

• Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or legally entitled to work in Canada
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Valid First Aid/CPR-C certification prior to appointment
• Meet vision and hearing standards
• Physically fit and healthy lifestyle
• No criminal convictions inconsistent with police service
• ETHOS Assessment score of 70% or greater
• Demonstrate integrity, maturity, accountability, and sound judgment

Special Municipal Constable• Relevant experience in policing, corrections, military policing, bylaw, public safety, or related field

• Demonstrated interest in mentoring and coaching others
• Ability to successfully complete security screening

Contract Media & Social Media Coordinator• Experience in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, digital media, or related discipline
• Strong writing and editing skills

• Willingness to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
