The Central Saanich Police wish to advise the public that the woman found deceased at a Central Saanich waste disposal facility on October 13, 2026 has been positively identified. Efforts are underway to notify her next of kin.

Investigators thank the public for their attention and response to this matter.

The Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU) continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death. Further details will be released when appropriate.
